Good location, friendly service. What else could you want? It’s important to note that none of the cabins have WiFi or cell service (We tried Verizon, AT&T, T-mobile and Union wireless) but the main lobby did have starlink internet (way better than other lodges that have Hues Net) Craig was very helpful and friendly, along with his staff. Would definitely come again.
My wife and I stayed for 5 nights while visiting Yellowstone. We enjoyed the rustic cabins and location. It was convenient having a restaurant on-site and got coffee to go every morning for our drive into the park. We had the opportunity to speak with the owner and learn some history of the lodge and cabins. He and his staff are very pleasant and helpful.
We went for the two hour horseback ride as a family. The guides were great and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. A great experience.
This place is magical. The cabins look small fr the outside but they are well laid out, clean, up to date. Beds are comfortable and sheets/ blankets are clean. The staff know what they are doing and work well together. The wifi at the lodge is a good excuse to get out of the cabin if you want to stay connected.
Horseback riding was great- we crossed a stream which was exciting. I only rode twice before and felt comfortable on the well trained horse.
Dinner is good, especially dessert- authentic Belgian waffles! Could use more vegetable/fish options though. Not for dessert, for dinner obviously.
Overall a great experience. The valley is beautiful and we felt a part of nature. Despite the closure of Yellowstone we had a good vacation.
I went on vacation and this was no doubt my favorite hotel because of the cabins, the valley it was in, the checker table in the lobby, the horses, and the fried chicken😁. The staff was very nice and they were quite helpful. My sister really wanted to go trail riding but it rained and it was canceled. The person who worked at the stables came over to our table at the restaurant and apologized to us and explained that it was dangerous for the horses to go out in that weather. We got our money back and I think that they handled the situation very well. It's about 20 miles from Yellowstone's east entrance which is very convenient. I would stay there again.
We went up for a day ride and it was totally worth the stop!!! If you have some time which you know you do, make the time to stop and take a ride. The owner’s are hands on and there to help.
The guild was enjoyable and knowledgeable
Great little private spot with a creek and nice Seating spots
Next trip over we will plan on eating and staying and maybe even two rides.
Close to the gate yet far enough to feel peace and quite
Highly recommend
Such a cozy place to stay. Cabins were perfect, but if you're looking for Hilton conditions, look elsewhere. This is as close to nature as you can get!
The family who owns it is simply amazing! Kind and personable. The location is absolutely breath-taking! Dining there is wonderful, family experience and the food is delicious! The cabins are very clean and I loved sitting and having the time to relax and read a great book! Truly a magical time and I highly recommend it!
